Cookie Policy
This page explains how VPN Reviews uses cookies and similar technologies, and how you can control them. We keep tracking to a minimum and never load analytics until you've agreed.

Template notice. This cookie policy is a good-faith starting point, not legal advice. It should be reviewed by a qualified solicitor and confirmed against the cookies your site actually sets before you rely on it.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help sites function, remember choices, and — when you allow it — measure how the site is used. Some related technologies, such as your browser's local storage, work in a similar way.
Essential cookies
These are necessary for the site to work properly and to keep it secure. They do not track you for marketing and cannot be switched off through the banner, as the site would not function correctly without them.
Analytics cookies — only after you accept
We use analytics to learn which guides are helpful so we can improve them. Crucially, analytics cookies and scripts load only after you click "Accept all" in the slide-in cookie banner. If you choose "Reject non-essential", no analytics are loaded and no analytics cookies are set.
Remembering your choice
When you make a consent choice, we remember it in your browser's local storage so we don't ask you again on every visit. This preference stays on your device until you clear it.
Affiliate-network cookies
If you click an outbound affiliate link, the relevant affiliate network may set its own cookies to record the referral. These are controlled by that third party under its own cookie and privacy policies, not by us. They are only set if you choose to follow such a link.
Google Fonts
We use Google Fonts to display the site's typography. Fonts are requested from Google's servers, which may receive your IP address as part of delivering them. This does not place advertising cookies on your device.
How to change your choice
- Clear site data / local storage for vpnreviews.net in your browser settings — the consent banner will then appear again on your next visit, letting you choose afresh.
- Use your browser settings to block or delete cookies generally. Most browsers also offer a "clear browsing data" option.
- Note that blocking essential cookies may stop parts of the site from working correctly.
Changes to this policy
We may update this cookie policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above shows when it last changed.
